The body produces most of the skins powerful protectors, but as we age, the skins natural defenses decrease. Everyday elements such as sunlight, wind, cold, indoor heating, airplane travel, pollutants and stress, wreak havoc on skin. These forces contribute to natural moisture loss resulting in severe dryness, redness, itchy and tight skin. This slow and steady loss of skin protection increases the need to explore ways to build environmental resistance.
